Just across the waterway from the resort is Barefoot Landing laid out on Boardwalks, with more than a dozen eating places, 100 shops and entertainment at The House Of Blues and Alabama Theatre. Alligator Adventure is just along the road. Moored there is Barefoot Princess a Riverboat which cruises the calm and scenic waters of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
Tanger Outlet Mall is just a few minutes down Highway 17 while close by are the large golf retail outlets - Golf Dimensions and Martin's PGA Superstore.
