All the centres will have a variety of places to eat and opening hours are usually 10am to late. If you want to plan your holiday around shopping the best place for outlet shops, sports superstores and malls is Myrtle Beach.
For shopping experiences, the little village type collection of shops, then head for Pawleys Island. Here you have the Hammock Shops and Island Shops or Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach.
As for food shopping if you are self catering there are supermarkets wherever you look especially the Food Lion chain stores. But we find fresh produce is more expensive then the UK whch is strange given that eating out is so cheap and portions are so large. And there is not the range of fresh goods we have here but an abundance of snack type stuff and beer!
