The nationally recognised Phil Ritson / Mel Sole golf school at Pawleys Plantation is the perfect place with expert tuition backed up by top quality accommodation and spectacular Jack Nicklaus designed golf course on site.

Why choose this golf school?
The school is ranked in the Top 5 of Golf Magazine's Top 25 Golf Schools and is one of only 10 academies to remain on this prestigious list since it began in 1999.

Tuition rates are lower than most of the other Top 25 golf schools and they are significantly lower than the four others in the Top 5.

The golf instructors are all PGA professionals with many years of successful teaching in the field.

You can stay on-site on a golf school package, or attend school as a commuter student.

Classes are limited to 4 students with 1 instructor for a high level of personal attention. Singles are welcome so you do not need to find three others in order to enrol.

Instruction methods are flexible and concentrate on improving each individual's game from tee to green. Emphasis is also placed on the mental approach to golf.

The school uses use latest in computerized teaching equipment to diagnose swing problems and to monitor results. Your personal take-home drill tape or DVD is provided for follow-up practice.

3-day golf schools start every Monday and Thursday, and include instruction on all aspects of your long and short game, utilizing the appropriate practice areas.

Each morning instruction takes place at the practice center from 9am to 12:30pm. The afternoon is your free time to play, practice your drills, sightsee, or just relax. If you're unable to attend a morning class, we can schedule your instruction from 1:30pm to 5pm, subject to availability.

On-course, 9-hole playing lessons can also be arranged in the afternoons - additional fees apply.

1 and 2 day schools and private lessons are bookable, subject to availability.
