Litchfield Plantation was one of the oldest rice plantations on the Waccamaw River.
Guests enter the Plantation through magnificent wrought iron gates and follow the quarter mile avenue of moss draped live oaks to the original Plantation House, built around 1740, which centres the 600 acre hideaway.
