Then there are the "shopping experiences," almost little villages, like Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach.
Obviously there are many golf retail outlets, the 2 main ones being Martins PGA tour Superstore and Golf Dimensions covering 75,000 sq ft. Probably the best locations for golf shoes. However in your travels around golf clubs it is always worth checking the Pro's Shop. It is also quite nice to have a logo shirt to remind you of the course.
We find apparel is full price only when the new seasons stock is in and at the same time bargains are to be had on old stock.
However, forget golf, just for a moment.
Barefoot Landing
In addition to the 17 restaurants and 14 attractions including, Alligator Adventure, The Alabama Theatre, The Barefoot Princess Riverboat II and The House Of Blues you will find over 100 shops at Barefoot Landing.
Gifts, books, jewelry and clothing outlets make up the majority so it is the perfect place for those gifts and holiday bargains.

Broadway at the Beach
Over 100 speciality shops can be found in this fantastic complex with gift shops making up the majority. My personal favourite is the Wolf Creek Gallery a treasure trove of Native American art while the Discovery store is a must for gadget lovers and for the kids - Build a Bear Workshop.
Apart from the shops Broadway boasts 20 restaurants, 15 attractions, including Ripley's Aquarium and The Palace Theatre and 10 evening haunts including Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe.
