Here is a collection of our featured independent golf courses.
Arcadian Shores
This Rees Jones layout, located across from the Kingston Plantation and Hilton Myrtle Beach properties, is a classic tree-lined layout with many challenging holes with the 13th the pick, a par 4 which sweeps downhill from the tee leaving a second shot over water to the green set below you.
Blackmoor – A Gary Player design, has always been one of our favourites with its tight tree lined layout and quiet country club atmosphere it is always a pleasure to visit and play. Sharp doglegs wind their way through the trees to test your driving ability and approach shots to elevated greens will have you questioning your club selection. An open section on the back nine ensures there is plenty of variety and the par 5 18th is a great finishing hole.
Ocean Ridge Plantation

Lion's Paw – Designed by Willard Byrd, Lion's Paw has a resort course feel in places and an almost links like quality at times but it is best known for an outstanding collection of par 3 holes each one challenging and beautiful. As with the other courses at Ocean Ridge the course is always in excellent condition and a pleasure to play.

Panther's Run – A wonderful mix of wide ranging fairways, challenging water hazards, trees and marshland make this a visually satisfying golfing experience. The front nine winds its way through a hardwood forest with several doglegs making positioning off the tee important. The back nine is more open but no less challenging for it.

Tiger's Eye – Spectacular layout with giant coquina boulders, wild flowers, sandy waste areas and many water hazards providing a visual treat. The opening four holes are tough to beat with the striking par 3 second which has a dramatically elevated green the pick along with the short par 4 4th hole which is a classic risk reward hole with a carry over water to a small landing area for those who want to go straight at the green. Ranked number 41 in the top 100 public courses in America by Golf Digest in 2005.

Leopard's Chase – New to Ocean Ridge in 2006 this Tim Cate design promises to be spectacular, watch this space...
