Myrtle Beach National group
Quality, value and service are the key words to describe this excellent collection of golf courses.
Aberdeen Country Club
27 hole complex with a resort course feel.

Designed by Tom Jackson it has three very distinct 9 hole layouts – Highlands, Woodlands and Meadows.

The Woodlands layout is seriously tough with some fantastic holes bringing water in play on all nine holes. Water also plays a part on many holes on the other nines.

Long Bay Club – Classic Jack Nicklaus signature course. Great driving course and one of the toughest tests in the Myrtle Beach area. Many of the greens are set at an angle to the fairway and are shallow from front to back with deep bunkers to catch any shots which are off line or the wrong distance. Definitely a shot makers course and always in great condition and a pleasure to play.
Myrtle Beach National

King's North – Designed by Arnold Palmer this flagship course of the Myrtle Beach National company is an outstanding layout. A huge array of visually stunning and individualistic holes crowned by the 'Gambler' 6th hole which is a par five with an island fairway for those willing to risk it. Water, sand, trees, doglegs, waste areas will keep you honest!

South Creek – South Creek is a fairly tight 18 hole course designed by Arnold Palmer as part of the 54 hole complex at Myrtle Beach National. Not a long course but many interesting holes and the narrow fairways, waste areas, several doglegs and well protected greens mean that accuracy is more important than length.

West – The west course is an 18 hole course designed by Arnold Palmer as part of the 54 hole complex at Myrtle Beach National. Long off the back but very manageable off the forward tees and with wide fairways this is a choice for an opening round or pm replay when you are looking for something not too testing. Some excellent holes especially on the back nine.

Waterway Hills – 27 hole layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and offers the unique experience of approaching the course via a cable car over the intracoastal waterway. Many fine holes to test your skills and keep you interested. The ravine 9 in particular has some outstanding holes starting with the first which runs alongside the intracoastal waterway making for an intimidating first tee shot.
The rest of the Myrtle Beach National group courses are made up by the 3 courses attached to the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort in Pawleys Island.

See our Pawleys Island golf page for Litchfield Country Club, River club and Willbrook Plantation.
