Dye Club – One of the most difficult courses in the area, the Dye course at Barefoot will test you off the tee with water coming into play on several holes but it is around the greens where it is particularly tricky. Small undulated greens protected with deep bunkers and closely mown run off areas present a stern test of your short game.
Fazio – The most picturesque of the four courses at Barefoot Resort, the Fazio course boasts 18 individual holes providing many memorable moments. The use of native grasses, sand and wetlands give the course a very natural feel. The wide fairways make it very playable for golfers of all levels.
Love – Similar in character to the Fazio course but with perhaps more of a resort course feel with a dramatic open section around a large lake incorporating the 3rd to the 7th holes. The Love course features elevated greens with steep run off areas make getting your approach shot right of the utmost importance.
Norman – A little different in character to the other three Barefoot courses. a typical Greg Norman design using the natural elements to shape the course. Inspired by the sand belt courses down under such as Royal Melbourne the course looks like it has been here for many years. The accommodation at Barefoot borders the Norman course so guests can enjoy the golf while sitting on their patio or balconies with a cool one!

Heritage Club is actually in Pawleys Island around 30 minutes from the centre of Myrtle Beach. See our other Pawleys Island golf courses.

As the names suggest the designers have attempted to recreate the feel of Scottish links in three quite different layouts.
While the discerning Brit might not see the similarity with the links of the old country there is no doubting the quality of the Legends courses.
Heathland – The most authentic and possibly the best of the three in our view, we love this course. Wide open terrain, low wind swept bushes and parallel holes really gives you the feel you are on a British links or heathland course.
Moorland – Fantastic elevation changes on this devilishly difficult design make this a fun course to play but bring plenty of golf balls!
Parkland – Long, testing parkland style layout. Perhaps not the visual spectacle of the other two but an excellent test of golf.
