Introduction

We have extensive personal knowledge of all our holiday destinations and the accommodation we sell. We spend 5 months a year in the US and can therefore keep right up to date with everything. Resorts are continually upgrading their facilities and the latest must have is a day spa. We therefore always have the very latest developments to report to you.

Unlike Europe where the safest option is usually to specify a central location, accommodation in the US is so diverse and the holiday locations so vast that knowing your preference we can exactly match your requirements. And of course use our in depth knowledge to advise you.

We can accommodate everyone, couples, families and groups of 4 upwards. All we need from you is your preferences and budgets.

The 4 basic types of accommodation are hotel rooms, hotel suites, condos, sometimes called apartments and villas sometimes called cottages, but forget the thatched roof!

Oceanfront accommodation can be either a hotel room or condo but you do pay a premium for staying on the ocean.

If you like the idea of staying in an old Plantation house in Pawleys Island or a Victorian style hotel in Charleston we can accommodate you.

Accommodation types

Hotel Standard Rooms are fairly spacious and the most cost efficient for 2 sharing. However, in general they are more expensive than villas, or condos, if there are four of you.

Rooms are en-suite with TV and coffee makers and some have fridge and microwave as well.

Hotel Suites are large one or two room units usually with sink, coffee machine, fridge and microwave and a lounge area with TV.

The hotels we offer all have extensive amenities for guests including pools, laundry facilities, breakfast rooms and bars and restaurants on site or very close by.

Condos have much more room and many more facilities than a hotel room or suite and essentially represent a home from home with a fully fitted kitchen, dining and lounge areas, washer, dryer, iron and board. The building may have its own pool plus access to the resort pools and other facilities.

Villas/cottages are essentially condos built in small units, usually 4. They are similarly equipped and the difference is only really in their location. They are set either on golf courses or in the grounds of resorts. Surrounded by landscaping they can have golf course, marsh or lake views. There will be a small neighbourhood pool and access to the resort pools and other facilities.

Our advice

Villas and Condos are generally the best value accommodation and also provide the most variety from standard golf villas which are spacious, comfortable and well equipped to luxury villas and apartments, many of which are larger and provide more facilities and home comforts.

We feel that there is a huge benefit to any group having a unit large enough to get together in after a round of golf or a day at the beach and before they go out in the evening.

You can have a few drinks, stored in the enormous fridge/freezers typical of the units and perhaps watch the golf channel or a movie or play cards.
