Hire a bike and explore the Island
With miles of bike paths available, many of which take you through nature preserves, this is truly an enjoyable way to experience the natural splendor of the island. At low tide, the beaches of Hilton Head make an excellent hard packed sand riding surface. The ladies can sit on the back of a tandem, put their feet and get their legs brown!

Ride A Horse Or Carriage
For a gentler way to explore both Hilton Head and nearby Dafuskie Islands you can take a horse and carriage ride.

Visit Harbour Town
The centre of activity within Sea Pines, Harbour Town is a must place to visit. Be sure to check out the spectacular 360° views from the top of the lighthouse and pick up a souvenir at Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the Heritage Classic on the PGA Tour.

Visit Shelter Cove
Located on the sunset side of the Island and has it's largest working deep sea marina. Check out the giant bronze statue of Neptune set in a spacious plaza that is one of the World's largest working sundials. His trident is the time indicator. A great place to wander in the evenings with live entertainment on offer.

Walk Pinckney Island
Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge has 14 miles of trails through maritime forests, salt marshes and the beach with an abundance of wildlife and plant life.

Commune with nature
